This roadmap is important to ensure you have a clear direction and don’t feel lost along the way. We’ll help you create a realistic roadmap tailored to your unique situation.
Personal Roadmap
Full-Time Takaful (First 6 Month)
Phase 1: Preparation (Week 1–2)
✔️ Define Your “Why” (Why do you want to pursue a career in Takaful?)
✔️ Obtain Your Takaful Agent Certificate (Pass the licensing exam)
✔️ Find an Agency with a strong support system and a proven leader
✔️ Prepare Your Marketing Budget (Minimum RM300–RM500/month to start)
Phase 2: Foundation & Training (Weeks 3–4)
✔️ Attend All Basic Classes – Product knowledge, presentation skills & objection handling
✔️ Learn Digital Marketing – FB Ads, Instagram, TikTok & WhatsApp funnel strategies
✔️ Set Up All Key Platforms – Facebook Page, Instagram, WhatsApp Business & Google Form
✔️ Start Building Your Network – Reach out to family, friends, ex-colleagues & existing contacts
Phase 3: Prospecting & Action (Months 2–3)
✔️ Contact a Minimum of 10 Prospects Daily (both offline & online)
✔️ Conduct at Least 3 Presentations Daily
✔️ Post Content Daily on FB/IG – Educational tips, personal sharing, and success stories
✔️ Run 1–2 Paid Ads per Month (if within budget)
✔️ Attend All Team Meetings and Coaching Sessions with Your Leader
Phase 4: Consistency & Follow-Up (Months 4–5)
✔️ Follow Up with All Previous Prospects
✔️ Do Policy Reviews for prospects who already have existing Takaful plans
✔️ Start Building Personal Branding – Share your Takaful journey on social media
✔️ Achieve a Minimum of 5 Cases per Month – Set realistic, consistent goals
✔️ Begin Asking for Referrals and build trust with existing contacts
Phase 5: Upgrade & Scale Up (Month 6)
✔️ Start Learning Leadership Skills – Begin recruiting and mentoring new agents
✔️ Increase Your Marketing Budget (if financially feasible)
✔️ Focus on Quality Closings & Bigger Cases – Family plans, hibah (legacy planning), medical cards
✔️ Build Consistent Personal Branding across all platforms (FB, IG, TikTok, etc
🎯 6-Month Target:
✔️ Minimum 30–50 Cases In Force
✔️ Monthly Income Between RM3,000 – RM6,000
✔️ Basic Social Media Presence Established (FB, IG, TikTok, WhatsApp)
✔️ Consistent Pipeline of New Prospects (via online & offline channels)
✔️ Solid Prospecting, Presentation & Follow-Up Routine
✔️ On Track to Build a Personal Brand & Grow a Team
